Subscription & Cancellation Policy
Canada Tender Match offers Free, Solo, Pro, Contract Intelligence and Complete plans. Current standard prices are $7.99/$79 CAD for Solo, $14.99/$149 CAD for Pro, $19.99/$199 CAD for Contract Intelligence and $24.99/$249 CAD for Complete, monthly/yearly, plus applicable taxes where required.
Limited Free Preview and public-source examples
Public tender headings and official issuing-source links may appear as marketing and research previews without registration. New verified Free accounts receive one 14-day personalized matching preview. The timer starts only after a completed business profile first displays at least one personalized match, not on account creation or an empty-result setup. During that period, the account may see up to three prioritized matches and save one tender. After 14 days, personalized matching and new saves are unavailable without a paid subscription. No weekly recurring digest, instant alerts, tender-change monitoring or full research/bid workspace is included with new Free Preview access. The account remains accessible, with profile, existing saved records (read-only or removable), data export and public notice examples. No payment details are required and Free Preview never automatically becomes paid.
Existing Free accounts that were promised continuing benefits retain them during an advance transition notice period of at least 30 days following acknowledgement of revised Terms. The replacement 14-day preview then starts on the next eligible displayed match, with no backdating to a prior registration. Existing saved records are preserved even if they exceed the new save allowance. Any additional rights under applicable law take precedence.
First-year annual upgrade offers
Some eligible never-paid Free Preview accounts may receive a 15% discount on the first year of an annual plan, including featured Solo Annual or Complete Annual choices, after at least 3 days as described in the in-account offer. Individual offers can differ, including previously issued 10% offers; the account's actual live offer and Stripe checkout are authoritative. Eligibility is not guaranteed and offer expiry is disclosed when issued. Monthly subscriptions remain available at their regular monthly prices without an introductory annual discount. Unless expressly specified otherwise, an offer cannot be combined, is limited to one redemption per organization and applies only to the first annual billing term. Renewal is at the then-current regular annual rate unless cancelled or changed beforehand. Optional marketing emails require applicable consent, identification and unsubscribe functionality.
Plan access
Free, Solo and Contract Intelligence are one-user plans. Pro and Complete include unlimited authorized users from the same subscribing organization, with separate logins and no per-seat fee. Access may not be shared with unrelated organizations. Contract Intelligence is a one-user plan that includes everything in Solo plus the research features identified on the current Pricing page, including Contract Intelligence, Supplier Intelligence and Supplier Activity. Complete includes everything in Pro and Contract Intelligence and retains unlimited authorized organization users with no per-seat fee. Prequalification Matching focuses open qualification-related notices already in the tender database. Existing Pro accounts that originally included Award Intelligence retain that grandfathered feature while the applicable subscription remains active; new Pro accounts follow the current Pricing page.
Research-feature status
Contract Intelligence, Supplier Intelligence and Supplier Activity are research products and are distinct from live open-tender results. Supplier Intelligence and Supplier Activity do not guarantee that an arrangement is currently open for qualification or that future purchasing will occur. Prequalification Matching is based on open tender records and classifications in the Canada Tender Match database; customers must verify qualification status and requirements with the official source. Funding Intelligence is temporarily unavailable while its official-data import/search implementation is completed and is not currently advertised as an included plan feature.
Paid access and return to Free
Active paid subscriptions, complimentary paid access and authorized users of an active paid organization receive the paid entitlements shown for their plan. A customer who cancels continues to receive the paid access already purchased through the end of the current paid period. When paid access ends, the account returns to any unexpired Free Preview entitlement available to that organization. A preview that has already ended is not restarted by cancellation; public notice examples, existing account data, and export remain available.
Coverage
Paid access does not guarantee that every Canadian public-sector tender, research record, award, supplier arrangement or activity record is included. Coverage varies by jurisdiction, buyer, dataset and source. Canada Tender Match continues to add compatible public sources and may pause or remove a source if access changes, the publisher requests it, or legal/technical restrictions apply. The official issuing source or dataset remains authoritative.
Automatic renewal
Paid monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and are charged in advance for the selected billing period.
Self-service cancellation
Paid customers can use Account & Billing to open Stripe’s Customer Portal and cancel future renewal. Normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
No cancellation penalty
There is no additional cancellation fee. Cancellation prevents the next scheduled renewal charge but does not itself reverse charges for the current period.
Refunds
Normal cancellation does not itself create a refund for unused time. Refund rights are governed by the Refund Policy and mandatory applicable law. If Canada Tender Match permanently terminates the entire paid Service during a prepaid period, the Refund Policy provides for a prorated refund of the unused prepaid portion; removal of an individual source, dataset, feature or plan is not the same as terminating the entire paid Service.
Plan changes and the combined plan
Existing customers change plan or billing interval through Stripe rather than starting a second subscription. Moving to Complete combines everything in Pro and Contract Intelligence in one subscription and keeps one renewal date. Stripe shows any applicable proration and the next charge before confirmation. Moving to a plan without the workspace disables team access; moving to a plan without the applicable intelligence entitlement disables those research-only features and watchlists after the effective change.
Promotional, loyalty and retention offers
Canada Tender Match may present selected customers with introductory, loyalty, annual-billing or retention offers through the Service or by permitted email. Eligibility, price, duration, billing interval and renewal terms are displayed before acceptance. Offers may be limited by customer, plan, date, account history or one redemption per organization and need not be offered to every customer.
An existing monthly subscriber may, for example, be offered a lower promotional price for the next 12-month term than the then-current standard annual price. If the offer states that the promotional annual term begins after the already-paid monthly period, the current paid period remains unchanged. Unless the offer expressly states otherwise, the subscription renews after the promotional term at the regular price for the applicable plan and billing interval then in effect unless cancelled before renewal.
Mandatory legal rights
Nothing in this Policy limits or waives any right that cannot legally be excluded or waived under applicable law.
